It is one of our greatest joys to be able to give witness to the vocation of consecrated life. We seek to be available to give vocation testimonies and talks on vocations at colleges, schools, vocations events and parishes, especially in our local area (Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania). Periodically we have vocation programs at our Monastery.

Pocket-sized Cards

We recently created pocket-sized cards  with beautiful pictures from our chapel.  These are perfect to display in your parishes, youth groups, schools, or campuses. They are also small enough to carry around in your pocket or use as a holy card.  On the back of these cards you can find information about our community. If you would like to acquire some of our pocket-sized cards please contact us. We would be very happy to send you whatever you need.

 On the card above, “Community,” is printed our mission statement: “to glorify God and to make known His merciful love.” These words are also part of our vow formula during our profession ceremony. This picture was taken during the Easter octave from the loft in our chapel.

The card to the right, “Eucharist” has a quote from St. Francis of Assisi: “Let the whole of mankind tremble and the whole world shake when Christ, the Son of the Living God is present on the altar.” The sun shining on the Eucharist in our chapel is beautiful.

 

Rack Cards

These rack cards were created to be the size of a brochure and fit perfectly into a brochure display holder. On the back of both cards you will find information about our community.

The card to the left, “Chapel rack card” is a picture of a sister praying in front of the Eucharist in our chapel with the wood carving of the Passion scene in perfect view. Many people have been moved to tears seeing this wood relief and it is our joy to share the image with others.

The card to the right, “Habit Rack Card” has a quote from our Constitutions: “Through our profession of vows we offer our life with Christ as a holocaust of love.”
